That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, June 25th, 1981
a gate be installed at the end of Paula Place at the temporary road access to
Hazel Trembath School;

AND THAT the necessary cost be taken from the unallocated funds in
the Public Works Budget.

Mayor Laking stated there have been numerous problems with the
temporary road access to the school at the end of Paula Place and suggested
a meeting be held with School District No. 43's School Board regarding
closure of this temporary access and provision of a proper access by
extension of Western Drive. Alderman Keryluk concurred and suggested that the
City request the Schaol Board to place this extension into their 1981-82

Budget. Alderman Mabbett stated he . in favour of having a meeting

with the School Board regarding the - 8.
