The appeal was read in Norwegian, French, German, English and Russian. For the first time since the early forties, however, there will "be no May Day parade this year. Featured speakers at the rally will be John Boyd of Toronto and Nigel Morgan, LPP provincial leader. Alex Gordon will be chairman. A program of folk singing will be provided by the Youth Folk Singers, a small group of young people who have established a reputation in this field under the direction of Searle Friedman.
