Le Gouvernement du Québec est fier de s'associer de nouveau au Festival d’été
francophone de Vancouver, qui constitue l’un des plus grands rendez-vous culturels
et musicaux francophones de |’Ouest canadien. Depuis plus d’un quart de siécle,
ce festival célébre la richesse de la culture d’ expression francaise.

Cette manifestation culturelle vouée a la chanson francophone offre un tremplin
aux jeunes artistes émergents et encourage le rapprochement entre les artistes
de la releve québécoise et ceux des communautés francophones du Canada.

La mise en valeur des talents et de la créativité des artistes offrira aux festivaliers |
de belles découvertes et leur fera vivre de grandes émotions.

A Message from the Mayor

On behalf of the City of Vancouver and my colleagues on City Council, I want to offer
my sincere best wishes to Le Centre Culturel francophone de Vancouver as they celebrate
the 28th Festival d’été francophone de Vancouver.

Le Centre has established itself as a vital part of our city's multicultural arts scene.
Festival d’été has become one of the most acclaimed francophone cultural events in
Western Canada. Festival d’été has become a popular event for our francophone citizens
as well as Vancouverites in general. Le Centre has established itself as the hub of artistic,
community and educational programming for the francophone sector of our community.
They have been a cornerstone for continuing the celebration of French Heritage and
allowing us to get in touch with our bilingual roots.

Congratulations of your first 28 years and our best wishes for a fantastic festival!
