5. POWERS OF THE BUILDING INSPECTORS 5.1. A Building Inspector: 5.1.1. may enter any land, building or premises at any reasonable time for the purpose of ascertaining that the regulationg of this Bylaw are being observed; where any residence ig occupied, shall obtain the consent, of the occupant or provide written notice twenty~four hours in advance of entry; and shall carry proper credentials confirming his or her Status as a Building Inspector, A Building Inspector tay revoke or refuse to issue a permit where the results of tests of materials, devices, construction methods, structural assemblies or foundation conditions are not satisfactory.
