POWER COSTS Pump: Flygqt model C3085, 1.6 kw motor B.C. Hydro charges for power usage to operate the proposed pump station are: a) 6.61 cents per kw. hour - ist 550 kw hrs. b) #.60 cents per kw. hour - next 2450 kw hrs. c) 7.96 cents per kw. hour - 3000 kw hr and over Design Flow = 0.98 l/s Pumping vol (assumed) = 8 l/s Pumping time = 10 min Cycle time - 1.4 hrs. Thus, it may be anticipated that power costs may range between $5 and $10 per month. 2. MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION AND HIGHWAYS APPROVALS The only permit necessary will be one which allows work to be performed in the Mary Hill Bypass right-of-way. This requires that a completed application and drawings outlining the extent of works be submitted to the Ministry.
