Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart, and M.R. Wright in attendance, Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, Director of Community Planning W.A, Brown and Acting Fire Chief R. Dunbar, CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES : Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the minutes of the Public Hearing and the Regular Councii meeting held on October 2nd, 1989 be taken as read and adopted. And That the Council Minutes of September llth, 1989, on Page 186, be amended by adding thereto the Paragraph shown underlined at the top of draft page 186 attached to the Council Agenda. Carried, SPECIAL PRESENTATION: His Worship Mayor IL.M, fraboulay and Acting Fire Chief Re Dunbar introduced Kevin Gibson of Lincoln Elementary School who was the City's "Fire Chief for a Day", DELEGATION: His Worship Mayor LM. Traboulay introduced Mr, Paul Dutton, 1441 Elinor Crescent who 8ave a brief Presentation and submitted a petition from 607 local residents Tegarding their Opposition to any development of Colony Farm for industrial, warehouse or commercial development, any entertainment complex, retail store or professional Spectator sports, Patrick Burn, 1457 Francis Place, stated that he agreed with Mr. Dutton's comments. Mayor Traboulay refered to a letter from the Honourable Cliff Michael, Minister of Government Management Services, who's ministry manages the land called Colony Farm, The letter Stated that local residents opinions will be considered when a decision ig being made on the future of Colony Farm. A letter was received from Mrs. Se Osberg, 3156 Raleigh Street regarding her opposition to the use of Colony Farm lands for anything other than Agricultural use,
