Acquired immuno-Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) (continued)

That Council endorse in Principle an expanded AIDS
prevention and control program in the Vancouver Health
Department with the specific request. reported to Council
once the Provincial and Federal Government response to the
above requests have been received.

That the Mayor, Medical wealth Officer and the Chairman of
the Vancouver School Board request a meeting with the
Provincial Ministers of Health and Education to discuss
establishing a task force on AIDS and to urge the
appointment of a Provincial Co-Ordinator for AIDS.
