October 19th, 1981, area is not suited for children to play as the present parks are crowded and there are no sidewalks on Praser, Manning and Flint to walk to school. Mr. J.M. Gervais, Property owner of 2044 Fraser Avenue, concurred with the previous speakers and expressed his concerns regarding the possible increase in noise and parking problems resulting from the proposed development. Mr. S. McCall, property owner of 2031 Fraser Avenue, expressed his concerns regarding a high density development and referred to other high density areas in Vancouver and suggested the development be changed to RM-3 for a lower density development. Mrs. M. McCall, 2031 Fraser Avenue, stated in her opinion the developer should be required to advise the residents why a large development is required and not the residents advising the Council why it should not take place. Mr. Poul Hansen, Architect ¢or the Proposed development was present representing Mr. and Mrs. W. Stelmaschuk, and advised that the developer has planned a well designed residential Project and possibly some of the units would be strata title and advised receipt of a letter from the Principal of Viscount Alexander Elementary School, Mr. James P. MacNamee stating the school is experiencing a slight decline of students and would be able to accommodate the proposed increase of students. Mr. Hansen referred to the problem of parking in the area and advised the parking for the development would be underground and stated that the residents across and behind the proposed development were not opposed. Mrs. Coleman, 1172 Fraser Avenue, referred to the proposed underground parking and stated in her opinion problems could incur with vandals. Mr. Alain, 1979 Fraser Avenue, expressed his concerns regarding the traffic in the area. Mr. M. Bohier, property owner of 2160 Fraser Avenue referred to problems now incurred with vehicles parking in the lane behind hts residence. Mr. Poul Hansen, Architect, referred to the underground parking and advised there should be enough space to have open area for the parking and replied ta the concern regarding traffie and stated traffie is bad in all areas,
