GENERAL COMMENTS:

The hours that the Department gave up was a public skate on Friday nights and
Sunday nights. These public sessions were later on in the evening and had very
poor attendance and it was felt that the hours should be re~allocated in order

to get better revenue and cut down on the cost of rink patrol. We also shortened
the Family Skate on Sundays by one hour and re-allocated the hour for lessons

on a Thursday evening due to the fact that we had a great demand for lessons last

‘year and we were not able to accommodate everyone.

As noted in the above recap, Ringette Hockey and Girls Hockey increased in their
requirement, while Figure Skating gave back 2 ¥ hours.
