Tenders have been received by the Purchasing Agent for the supply and
delivery of the above authorized equipment purchases. Copies of the tenders
received are attached hereto. The low bid for the four vehicles has been
received by Rod McCallum Mercury. Orders have been placed for the supply
of these four vehicles by Rod McCallum Mercury, at the tendered prices, because
if the order was not placed before dune 30th, 1975, delivery would be delayed
and the prices would be subject to a 6% increase. Authorization for placing
the order was obtained from the Public Works Committee, and from the City
Administrator.
