Municipalities to the effect that two very important meetings were “coming up with
respect to the C.F, MMe, and suggesting payment of the 1974 membership fee be de-
ferred until the results of the two meetings are known. The City Clerk submitted

with his menotandum a report from the Union of British Columbia } Municipalities

dated March 8th, 1974, on the results of the. two neetings, wherein it was recommen-

e* by the U.B.C.M. that those municipalities which may have deferred payment of
the 1974 C.F.M.M. dues reconsider their position in view of the changes which have

been initiated.

That the invoice received from -tie Canadian Federation of Mayors & Municip-
alities, December 3rd, 1973, in the amount of $489.25, being the City's 1974

membership dues calculated at the rate of 2.5¢ per person for a population of
