Hydro regional headquarters at Keith and Braun. The foundations of the 40,000 square foot structure were laid in 1976 and the staff the spring of this year. On July 1, 1976 Hydro moved its regional headquarters from Prince Rupert to Terrace. In the process, about 16 people were transferred to Terrace. about 80 people here. A Hydro spokesman says the headquarters were moved to Terrace because Terrace is more centrally located. The new building consists ‘of 15,000 square feet of office space and 25,000 square feet B.C. The telephone company’s Terrace offices cover the Yukon-Alaska border south to Kitimat, and east from _ Smithers: to the Queen Charlotte Islands. In 1976 B.C.
