The policies and procedures outlined in the F.I.R.
letter of July 11, 1972 (copy attached) dealing with the
present company pension plan coverage shall apply to

LEAVE OF ABSENCE

Bereavement Leave:

Add a new Section 6 to read as follows:

(a) When death occurs to a member of a regular full-
time employee’s immediate family, the employee
will be granted an appropriate leave of absence for
which he shall be compensated at his regular
Straight time hourly rate of pay for his regular
work schedule for a maximum of three (3) days.

(b) Members of the employee’s immediate family are
defined as the employee’s spouse, mother, father,
brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, mother-in-law,
father-in-law, step-parents, grandparents, grand-
children.

(c) Compensable hours under the terms of this section
will be counted as hours worked for the purpose of
qualifying for vacations and for recognized paid
holidays, but will not be counted as hours worked
for the purpose of computing overtime.

Jury Duty

Add a new Section 7 to read as follows:

(a) Any regular full-time employee who is required to
perform jury duty, Coroner’s Jury Duty or as a
Crown Witness or Coroner’s Witness on a day on
