She has performed with various jazz ensembles and contemporary pop music bands, as well as in several musicals throughout Canada and the United States. Her remarkable talent was acknowledged when she won first Prize at the 2003 BC Gala provincial de la chanson in the category of best vocal performer. The sixteenth season of the Festival d’été francophone will be the occasion for her to present her very first album released under her own name in the spring of 2005. For this show, Héléne will be accompanied by well- known musicians, including David Sinclair, the producer of the CD, and the preferred guitarist of Sarah McLachlan and K.D.Lang. You will also enjoy bass guitarist Brian Newcombe, who has performed with artists of the stature of Céline Dion and Bryan Adams. This show will bring together very eclectic musical styles and accents, artfully blending old and new. Join us for the celebration!
