Julian en 1964 a Paris, comme Matisse, son peintre favori. Elle a ensuite poursuivi ses

études a1’Atelier 17 avec Stanley William Hayther et fréquenté le Hornsey College of
Art de Londres. En 1972, elle emménagea a Bruxelles, étudia |’Histoire de |’Art au Musée
Cinquatenaire et se mit A peindre d’immenses natures mortes a1’ Ecole des Beaux Arts. Aprés
son arrivée au Canada en 1975, elle fonda une famille. Elle commenga a exposer ses oeuvres
solo au Centre culturel francophone de Vancouver en 1984 puis dans de nombreuses galeries.
Depuis, ses peintures sont internationalement recherchées par des collectionneurs du secteur
privé et public.

Pitt: Holl Hunt est artiste-peintre depuis plus de trente ans. Elle a étudié a 1’Académie

in 1945, emigrated to Nova Scotia in 1953. In 1964, she moved to Paris and practised

life-drawing at the famous Académie Julian where her inspiration, Matisse, attended.
Then she went to the Atelier 17 to study acid etching, engraving and printing. She moved to
London in 1966 to study painting at the Hornsey College of Art . Then, she went to live in
Monksfield, home of Jean Hornak, England’s top decorator. During her apprenticeship there
she mastered the arts of decorative hand-painted finishes and antique furniture restoration. In
1972, she moved to Brussels, studied Art History at the Musée Cinquatenaire and the Ecole
des Beaux Arts. In the fall of 1975, she returned to Vancouver and started her family. The
Francophone Cultural Centre organized Pam’s first solo exhibition in 1984. Since then she
has had numerous one person shows. Currently she is represented by galleries in Vancouver,
Victoria and Bermuda. Her paintings are collected internationally by individuals and corpo-
rations.
