TERMS OF REFERENCE

INTRODUCTION:

The City ot Coquidam w. -econ. (the above noted road in 1993 and requires the

services of ‘suiting engine *0 und. the design, tender contract administration and
inspection fc oroject.

SCOPE OF THE WORK:
This assignment will incorporate the following:

}. Review the as-built drawings including sanitary, storm, water, road and all other utiliues.
Review other information including traffic data and development plans for the area.

Based on “ac -2uilt information, field survey, geotechnical information and traffic
requirernents. wT” “fe the design of Reeve Sueet from Pit River to Wilson, and
Hawthorne « -m Rowla: ‘o the lane east of Shaughnessy. Reeve Street is to be
designed to c. standards plete with sidewalks and streetlights on both sides,
water main, Stc ewer and a ventre median. The design will also incorporate the
future Pit Rive eve intersection. Hawthorne Avenue will be designed to local
standards compl: ith sidewalk streetlights, water main and storm sewer.

Complete iender aments using the Masier Municipal Specifications; perform a pre-
tender cost estim. >f the project, tender the project on behalf of the City; analyze and
recommend on the .znder results; administer contracts; do full site inspection and survey
lay out; produce as-built drawings on AutoCAD Version 12.

AutoCAD work wii. Secome the exclusive property of the City on completion of the
work. Tender documents ‘will be produced «1 Word Perfect 5.1 and will become he
exclusive property of the Cit,’ on completic > the project. Provide approximately 5
