SUBJECT: Development Variance Permit 7/87

RECOMMENDATION

hat as recommended by the City Engineer in his
memorandum of April 3rd, 1987 a Development Variance Permit
be approved to allow the construction of a park access road
along the southern extension of Guest Street rather than
building Guest Street to its full width and standard
required by the subdivision bylaw.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS

Pursuant to instructions issued by the Counci | at its
meeting of April {t3th, 1987 the owners and resi idents of
property surrounding the pubsect Property have been advised
that Council! are consideri ing tssuance of this Development
Variance Permit at its meeting of May 11th, 1987
Accordingly, at this time written or verbal submissions
should be considered by the Counci! and a decision reached as
re whether or not the Development Variance Permit should be

ssued.
