December 22nd,

A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of
the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port
Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on
December 22nd, 1980 at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking, Aldermen M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk,

Mabbett, A.K. Muldoon, L.M. Traboulay and M.R. Wright in attendance.

Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock,
City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., Assistant
City Engineer L. Melnechenko, P. Eng., City Planner L. Lee, Fire Chief
W.S. Wingrove, Deputy Fire Chief J.N. Boileau, Works & Utilities Superintendent
G.W. Ulmer and Mra. D.L. Vyse.

Prior to passage of the foregolny resolution Alderman Gates asked
regarding accvsh to the proposed subdivision and suggested an additional
necesa be established at the south end of the subdivinton, The City
Planner gave an explanation on the access and advised the prabloma with
interdor traffie, Alderman Mabbett expressed his concerns reparding the
proposed accens being too close to the intersection ar Lincoln Avenue
and Shaughnessy Street. The Gity Engineer advised he had been in discussion
with the Engineer for the proposed subdivision regarding moving the access
southward to alleviate this problem.
