Seniors hold fall bazaar Contributed MEMBERS OF THE B.C, Old Age Pensioners Organization (OAPO) Branch #73 held a very successful Fall Bazaar in the. Happy Gang Centre on Saturday, November 19 from 1:30-4:00 p.m., In spite of several other similar local events occurring the same day, the Pensioner’s Bazaar was well attended. , The bazaar included a sale of a varicty of crafts, baked goods and afternoon tea or coffee. In charge of the crafts and baking was Tina Brouwer and Mary Martin was in charge of the aftemoon tea and coffe tables, Muriel Michiel, with the help of Ladies of the Royal Purple, made the sandwiches. A group of ladies have been preparing for this annual event since late summer when they Started to sew a beautiful quilt they donated as the main raffle item. Many kaitted and crocheted ar- ticles such as socks, sweaters and doilies were also donated by members.
