Pollock, y | R Dear Mre Pollock: Re: Public Health Inspector Appointment — Mre James Pannue Mr. Pannu has been appointed by the Department of Health to fill the Public Health Inspector vacancy created by the promotion of Mre John Gibbe . Under Section 44 of the Health Act, municipalities appoint Public Health Inspectors to carry out the requirements of the Health Act and Regulations made pursuant to the Health Act in their areas Mr. Panu is qualified as outlined in Section 16 of the Health Act and I therefore request that Mre Pannu be appointed by the City Council as Public Health Inspector in the City of Port Coquitlam. Although Mr. Pannu will work mainly in the Coquitlam area, he may also be required due to holidays or sickness to work in Port Coquitlam. I have assumed that all our inspectors have been appointed as Public Health Inspectors for the City of Port Coquitlam prior to my arrival. Would you check and see if Mre Tom Moore, Mre Steve Martin, Mr. Max Ratner and Mr. Brian Nordin have been appointed, and if not, please have them appointed. Thank you for attending to this request.
