The two existing residences will remain, however, an existing garage and carport will need to be removed. The applicant will be required to design, for the two additional lots, residential buildings of a scale compatible with the area, and to ensure that reasonable view corridors for the properties uphill are maintained. DISCUSSION: The proposed development conforms with the Official Community Plan in terms of land use and infill policies. However, the volume of new buildings in the new lots must be kept below the maximums permitted by the zone, if the special character of this area ig to be considered.
