Mayor Laking advised Council has been taping a program for Channel 10 informing the public of what is currently being discussed by the Council and asked which of the Aldermen would be available to tape the Program for February 8th, 1980 and Alderman Ranger advised he would be available to do the taping. Mayor Laking advised Prime Minister Joe Clark will be in the City at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22nd, 1980 and Aldermen Keryluk and Mabbett advised they would be avallable to join Mayor Laking to greet the Prime Minister. Mayor Laking advised the Engineering Department had received a request that parking be restricted from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the east side of Shaughnessy Street from Whyte Avenue to McAllister Avenue on Tuesday, January 22nd, 1980, Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Wright: That "No Parking" be allowed om the east side of Shaughnessy Street from Whyte Avenue to McAllister Avenue on Tuesday, January 22nd, 1980 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
