GENERAL COMMENTS ON LOCAL CRIMINAL & DRUG ‘ACTIVITY

During the month of MAY, 1975 4a total of 16 adults
were charged with offences under the Narcotic Control Act and -
Food and Drug Act. No charges were processed against any juveniles.
There were no large seizure of drugs during the month of MAY.

The only ma Jor gecurrence during the month of. MAY war
an attempted murder. ‘The offence took place on 2 MAY 75 at
2191 Tyner Street, with the victim being an adult female, An
adult male has been charged for this offence :

the previous month. i residential, 14
business and 12 which gorized as others (private garages,
etc.) broken into during the month. This total of 87 compares
with the previous month when 79 offences occurred,
