Northwest Community College has an immediate
opening for a Switchboard/Receptionist, Clerk Ill. This
is a full-time, temporary appointment, commencing as
soon as possible and terminating June 29, 1990. The
salary will be in accordance with the College agree-
ment with the B.C.G.E.U. Clerk Ill scale.

DUTIES: Provide switchboard/receptionist duties for
the Terrace Campus as well as_clerical support:and .; -
other general office typing duties under the supervi-
sion of the Systems Manager.

EDUCATION: Secondary School graduation or any
equivalent combination of work, education and ex-
perience.

SKILLS: A demonstrated ability to meet and deal
politely with the public and a good generat knowledge
of office procedures and practices. Ability to type at a
minimum speed of 50 wpm and ability to transcribe dic-
tation from a dictaphone machine at an acceptable
rate.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years clerical ex-
perience with a minimum of one year’s experience with
a multi-line switchboard.
