The Terrace Curling Club

wound up another suc-
cessful curling season with

the 22nd Annual Terrace $250.

Log er’s Bonspiel that was
during the Easter
weekend, -

The local club hosted 58
‘rinks, 25 of which were
visiting rinks from as far
away as Abbotsford and
Duncan, B.C. and they were
competing for a_total of
$3,500 in prizes. This year
the club broke from
tradition and allowed
members of winning rinks to
pick their own prizes,

In addition to the prizes
offered to the winning
teams, the club also- set
aside $1,500 for their
sponsors. These are local
business people supporting
the bonspiel by giving cash

- donations, assisting with

prizes or by purchasing
keeper trophies. A sponsor

can win only when the team -
they are sponsoring wins an
