RECOMMENDATION:

That Council delete Section 10(c) of Schedule ’A’ of the City of Port Coquitlam Traffic
Regulation Bylaw No. 1117.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

There used to be a narrow frontage road between the Legion and Shaughnessy Street between
Elgin and Kingsway. Section 10(c) of Schedule ’A’ of the City Traffic Regulation Bylaw No.
1117 prohibited parking on this frontage road. The frontage road has now been removed and
there is a sidewalk in place of the road. It is recommended that Section 10(c) should now be
deleted from the Traffic Regulation Bylaw.
