A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy
Street, Port Coquitlam, BC on Monday, July 26th, 1993, at 7:30 p.m.

Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Councillors, M.D. Gates, MJ. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H.
Talbot, M.A. Thompson, and M.R. Wright were in 2ttendance.

Also in attendance were Treasurer/Deputy City Administrator J.G.S. Maitland, City Clerk
S. Rauh, City Engineer LR. Zahynacz, City Planner C.R. Felip, Deputy City Engineer J.E. Yip,
Chief Bylaw & Licencing Inspector I. Clough, and City Solicitor Ray Young.
SPECIAL PRESENTATION:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay presented Michele Clegg the Canada Youth Award for

her outstanding achievements and contributions to Canada.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay presented Wim Vander Zam, Art Knapp Plantland and
Florist, a Port Coquitlam Book and Pin in recognition of the donation of a weeping yellow cedar
tree to replace a tree that was vandalized.

That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council Meeting held on July 12th,
1993, be taken as read and <dopted.

DELEGATIONS:
His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Michael Milaney, Chairman,

Fraser-Burrard Hospital Society, who gave a brief talk regarding the Health Care
Regionalization Program.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Jens Albrecht and Mr. Tom Pearse,
Jen’s Towing, who made a presentation requesiing that the City use their towing services, and
recommend their services to the RCMP.
