At the October 25, 1991 Council meeting, Council adopted the following resolutions: - | “That Council authorize Fremont Holdings Lid. to construct the Dominion Pump Station and associated ditch improvements to the City’s requirements at an estimated cost of $7,000." "That the City agree in principle to waive the Drainage DCC’s that would normally apply to property owned by Fremont Holdings Ltd. by the amount of the costs of the pump station and associated ditch improvements." The key points in the attached draft agreement which was prepared by Grant Anderson are: 1) Fremont Holdings Ltd. will design and construct the Fremont Pump Station and associated works to the City’s requirements. Fremont Holdings Ltd. will provide an irrevocable letter of credit to the City as security for this work. The City of Port Coquitlam would waive the Drainage DCC’s for land owned by Fremont Holdings Ltd. up to the amount of the, costs for the Dominion Pump Station and associated works. The contract for the construction of the works shall not be awarded by Fremont Holdings until the contract is approved by a resolution the Council of the City. .
