Dear Mayor Hogg:

I was pleased to receive a copy of your letter to the Fraser Valley
Regional Library Board dated November 4, 1987. The sentiments you
have expressed reflect accurately the concerns of the District of
Chilliwack in regard to the Library budget. The Regional Library

: budget requests should more accurately reflect fiscal reality at the
municipal level.

In order that our concerns are presenced in an orderly fashion at

the Library Board level, I would suggest a meeting or conference a
cali amongst ali of the mayors of municipalities affectad. I
believe a rational, united approach can lead to positive results.
