Dear Council Members:

I request that this. matter be included on the Council Agenda tc be
heard on Monday, May 25, 1981. ;

: I am somewhat reiuctant to resort to this course of action against

pO the current: administration of the City of Port Coquitlam, but it

: _ appears I have no alternative, due to the inaction cf the afore-
mentioned body.

During the past two years, a number of residents from the Dominion
Avenue area have apprised this Council of their concern and displeasure
with respect to the encroachment of commercial enterprises in the
historically and currently zoned agriculture area on Dominion Avenue
and Burns Road. I need not, at this time, remind the Council of the
series of events-which transpired following the initiz] complaints,
for they, I am certain, are all too familiar to all concerned.

Therefore, at this point in time, I shall not make reference to the
past. However, more recently all Members of Council have been advised
of current activities, which are congruant to a number of the afore-
: mentioned unlawful activities, and no legal action has been taken
a against the alleged offenders.
