THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

BY-LAW NO. 1545

A By-law regarding part of Oxford Street and Mason Avenue forming a '

boundary between the City of Port Coquitlam and the District of Coquitlam. ; | |

. WHEREAS the District of Coquitlam proposes to adopt "District of |
Coquitlam Road Exchange By-law No. 730, 1977" which will close a portion of Oxford

Street and Mason Avenue which forms the boundary between the City of Port Coquitlam

and the District of Coquitlam;

AND WHEREAS in exchange for the portions of road to be closed, the . ; 7 - 4

lands outlined in red on the by-law plan attached hereto and marked Schedule "A"

will be dedicated as roads;

AND WHEREAS Section 537 of the Municipal Act being Chapter 255 of the .

Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1960 and amendments thereto states that:

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of
' | Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: . wo d

hereby consents: : Fe

£ (a) to the closure of those portions of Oxford Street and Mason Avenue

shown outlined in green on the road exchange plan attached hereto

and marked Schedule "A" (hereinafter called the "former highways");
(b) to the exchange of the former highways for the lands outlined in

red on the road exchange plan attached hereto and marked Schedule

"A" which lands outlined in red shall be dedicated as roads3

(c) to the adoption by the District. of Coquitlam of "District of

Coquitlam Road Exchange By-law No. 730, 1977", a copy of which is
attached hereto and marked Schedule "B". ; : .
2. This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the "Oxford Street and ‘

Mason Avenue Road Exchange Consent By~law, 1977, No. 1545".
