Excerpt from Page 5 of the April 2nd, 1973 Council meeting minutes:
"From the Parks and Recreation Committee, March 30th, 1973 referring to a request 4
from the Province of British Columbia to purchase C.P.R. Locomotive 3716 from the

City and recommending that the City of Port Coquitlam transfer ownership of C.P.R.

Locomotive 3716 to the Provincial Secretary for the sum of $1.00 with the provision

that a plaque be placed on the Locomotive from the City of Port Coquitlam stating

that the City donated the Locomotive. ; oo

That the report of the Parks & Recreation Committee, March 30th, 1973 | |

approved in principle subject to further clarification of the necessary details, -

including the form and wording of the plaque proposed for placement on the Locomotive.
