2532 Kingsway

The subject property is located at the corner of
Kingsway and Gately which was rezoned by Council early this
year from M-l to RS<-2. The rezoning occurred shortly after
Mr. Rasted had commenced construction of an industrial
building on the property.

Sometime ago, the completed development was sold
to T.C. Maritime Equipment Inc.

Council will recall that a request was made to
Council by the new owner to rezone the property back to
M-1 and Council at that time decided to refer the matter
to the Planning and Zoning Committee for recommendation,

The Cammittee dealt with this request early this
year and concurred that the property should be rezoned back
to M-i, The Committee therefore recommends that 2532 Kingsway
be rezoned to M-1 as requested by the new owner.
