February 16th, 1981, This property is located at 2251 Pitt River Road and is commonly known as the "old Legion Hall site" and it is expected that a three storey apartment building, 50 units in size, will be constructed on the property following ‘completion of the rezoning procedures. It is anticipated that parking for 75 cars would be provided underground and that access and egress to and from the parking would be from Pitt River Road. A representative of the applicant for rezoning was present and gave a short explanation of the proposal. Mr. Philip Thiesser, 2272 Pitt River Road, enquired concerning access to the parking ~ which was to be from Pitt River Road ~ and expressed his opposition to the proposal. The public hearing adjourned at 7:40 p-m.
