ee ey — The Minister of Municipal Affairs, Province of British Columbia. The Petition of the City of Port Coquitlam HUMBLY SHOWETH: 1. That the Muntetpal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitian has by By~law No. 1762 cited as the "South Side Baptist Church Lane Closure By-law, 1980, No. 1762" stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portion of Lane therein described; 2. That the said By-law No. 1762 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam on the Sixteenth day of June, - 2980 and a duly certified copy is attached hereto; 3. That the registered owners of all the adjoining and continguous lands have’ consented to the closure of the said portion of Lane described in the said , By~law No. 1762 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has agreed to accept title to the land comprising the same; 4, . That the. portion of Lane described in the said By-law No. 1762 has mever been opened to traffic nor has public money been expended thereon and an agreement has been reached with the adjoining owner, the South Side Baptist Church, wherein the said Church would acquire title to the portion of Lane from the City in return for the expenditure of approximately $7,000 for storm sewer construction and the grant of a statutory right-of-way thereover. 5. - That by Resolution dated the Sixteenth day of June, 1980 the Municipal Counei2 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam authorized the presentation ofa Petition to the Minister of Municipal Affairs praying for the abandonment of the portion of Lane described in the said By-law No. 1762 so stopped up and closed to traffic; THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the said " portion of Lane described in By-law No. 1762 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and the vesting of title to the land conprising same in The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam.
