Development target for 1975 which was set at 300 Singie family homes - not including dupleses, multiple housing, etc. - reviewed and defined the north boundary of the Northside Shopping Centre. ~ defined the industrial boundaries on McLean including partial replotting of adjacent residential lands. - endorsed widening of the Shaughnessy - Pitt River Road intersection and a higher residential use of the area north of this intersection (not started to date) - rezoning and Land Use Contracts studied (Humford Developments - Northside Shopping Centre; self-serve gas station and convenience store on Standard Oil property at Eastern Drive (has been referred back for further public input) 1 ~ industrial developments - in conjunction with the Community Development Committee - residential developments: 27 units on Hastings Street - A &N Construction Ltd. 202 units on Coast Meridian ~ Greater Vancouver Regional District 43 unai's on Bury - Oceanshores Devlopments Ltd. Mixed commercial/apartment building - Marpole Street Experimental small-lot subdivision ~ 11 lots on Chester Street by Rica.d Holdings (with varied sideyards and setbacks as an attempt to previde lower cost housing. 24 lot subdivision by Semico Enterprises Ltd. on Regina St. 41 lot subdivision by Gavel Developments at Pooley Ave. Nu-West Construction development proposal for the Cedar Drive area ~ shelved at this time by Nu-West. B.A.C.M. Development proposal for south Mary Hill ~ will have major impact on community and the proposed Mary Hill By-pass will be an important consideration in this regard.
