CLIFFORD CHRISTIAN NIELSEN passed away
November 10, 1996

in Red Deer Regional Hospital from
complications of diabetes at the age of
46 yeurs. Clifford was born March 26,
1930 tn the Homegten areo of Ponoka,
Mbarto. He received his bask educa-
tion there and loter served in the Army
(1947-49) statloned in Whitehorse,
Yukon. Clifford was on inactive mem-
ber of the Royol Canadian Leglan for
meny years, Alter beconting an auto-
mative methank: Clifford moved his
family to Terrace, BC in June, 1985,
here he worked for Reum Motors until
he betame on instructor ot the
Northwest Community College in 1970. in 1973-75 Clifford and his wile
Doris were in Nigeria, Africa with CI.D.A. to sef up o farming sehool to
teach the local people to mointoin their machinery ond to continue the
teaching there after. In 1990 Clifford took early retirement due ta poor
health. In 1993 Clifford and Doris moved bock to Ponoka, Alberta to be
neor ihe medical core he needed,

GiHord will be sadly missed by his wife of 30 years Dorls (nee Schultz}:
daughter Linda (Bruce) Robinson and her family, son Andrew (Nicole)
Robinson, their daughter Cassandra doughter Tiina (Dean) Franzmann,
their sons David and Colby; son Bruce (Denise) Robinson, their son Bruce;
also CliHard’s other children, sans Dennis, Daniel and Stent all of
Edmonton, Alberta, ond daughter Mory Ellen of Courtney, B.C.. As well
sisters Gertrude of Ontorio, Lillian of South Carolina, Dally of England,
Sheila, Patrida ond Joyce of Alberta, ond brother Arthur of Alberta, along
with more grandchildren and mony nieces, nephews, in-lows ond friends,

Clifford was predeceased by his parents HANS and MARY NIELSEN,

As per his wishes Clifford was cremated. A graveside service will be
held in the sumimer of 1997 of St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Bashaw,
Alberta, when the family will reunite,
