Hiking Club’s suinmer tramps, you missed the al-
pine flowers of Trapline and Maroon Mountains,
old mine workings at Rocheur de Boule - and
‘Kleanza Mtn., great scenery and, the wildlife of

the Silver King Basin and feasting on huckleber- .

ries at Silvern Lakes.

But there’s stili a chance to enjoy similar out-
ings even as fall descends on the area.

The club is-planning to, get and enjoy the crisp
autumnal weather and bright colours of he season
on each of the next three Sundays.

This coming one, Sept. 20, the destination is the
Rainbow Lakes area sear Prince Rupert including
Blaincy Lake and an interesting cabin located
there.

Hikers should mect at the Terrace library at 9
am. and remember to bring lunch. For.more in-

Potentially offcring the best chance of views of
fall colour is the Oct. 4 trip tc Insect Lookout
near Cedarvale.

It’s a walk of a little more than four miles,

mostly on a slight uphill but with a a steep climb
over the lasthalf mile.

Ifthe. weather co-operates, there. e should also be
a chance to gaze out at the. Seven Sisters
mountains, Mect at the Terrace library at 9: a.m.
