Maycr and Aldermen July 4th, 1980. R.A. Freeman, City Clerk. Marshall Avenue — Warwick Avenue Road Exchange By~law No. 1768 ; A copy of. the above noted by-law is attached and the same is _ available for first three readings. . In the normal course of events, this by-law would be placed before the Council for fénal reading on Monday July 28th, 1980 after having been advertised for the required two consecutive weeks. However, the Developer has ‘a deadline to meet with respect to his purchase of other property in the area - and has request@d that the Council give consideration to holding a special “meeting prior to that.date. Because of the time constraints imposed by the advertising re(@uirements the only two days available are Wednesday July 23rd, or Thursday Jujy 24th., and if Council could see its way clear to holding a ‘special meeting on either of those days we know it would be appreciated by the Developer. Additionally, as Council is aware, the sale of City owned land in _ the area.to the same Developer is pending and we would propose to issue the “required notice during the next day or two and present the formal resolution to the Council at the same meeting at which the Road Exchange By-law is considered for final reading. Noe City Clerk.
