Buildings Corporation will be commissioning a consultant to lead a iand use planning process for Colony Farm in the coming weeks. The consultant will be asked to organize and implement an extensive public participation process which will result in a land use plan which will hopefully be acceptable to al! stakeholders and which will reconcile the various agricultural, environmental (including naturalist) and recreational interests in the property. ; Our terms of reference to the consultant wil require that al major stakeholders are afforded opportunities to express their views during the planning process. While the planning procesa will be facilitated by the consultant, it will be essentially led by a steering committee with represantation from government and citizens organizations.
