May 28, 1990/129 iv. Signage: All signs and signage should be architecturally coordinated with the overall design of buildings and landscaping. Free standing signs shall be incorporated into the design of the landscaped area and shall not exceed 2.4 meters (8 feet) in height, except that for commercial properties fronting Lougheed Highway the limitations in che “Sign Bylaw, 1985, No. 2095", including any amendments or additional regulations Council may pass from time to time, apply. Implementation: To facilitate implementation of these guidelines, any Development Permit issued for properties within this Development Permit Area "Iv", may, subject to the restrictions of the Municipal Act, and unless otherwise specified in the above guidelines, vary or supplement the Bylaws regulating Zoning, Parking, Works and Services, Drainage, Signs, Screening, Landscaping and Subdivision. Minor variations which do not change the intent of the guidelines may be permitted without an amendment of the Development Permit Area guidelines, subject to the approval of the Director of Community Planning. "Clean Industrial (M-3)" of "Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240" be amended as follows: 1. The following subsection be added after subsection (2)(€a): (b) Light Industrial Uses; Subsection (b) to (f) of Part 1003. Clean Industrial (M-3), Section (2) are re~numbered (c) to (g) respectively. It is further recommended that the following be inserted after the definition of “Lane” on Page 5 of the "Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240": "Light Industrial: Light Industrial Use means an industrial use taking place entirely within a building and that produces no noise, smoke, smell, toxic fumes, vibration and/or electrical or electronic interference that may in any way interfere with the residential use of any other land.” Carried.
