That crosswalks be established at the following locations in
accordance with the City Engineer's proposal:

a. on Prairie Avenue at the east side of Shaughnessy Street.
b. on Prairie Avenue at the west side of Shaughnessy Street.
c. on Shaughnessy Street at the northside of Prairia Avenue.

That an additional warning sign be erected at the southeast corner of
Shaughnessy and Prairie to advise right turning motorists to stop for
pedestrians.

That the astimated cost of $1,000 for the associated works be funded
from the 1989 Unallocated Public Works Capital Budget.

That the City Clerk take the necessary steps to amend the Traffic
Regulations Bylaw if Recommendation 1 above is approved by Council.

convert the BC Tel overhead wires opposite 1309 Eastern Drive to
underground at their cost; and

revise their current policy such that all new facilities regardless
of whether or not they are proposed for new areas be placed
underground.
