SUBJECT: Parking restrictions on Warwick Place -
, Public Works Committee - March 4, 1986.

Recommendation:

That parking be prohibited around the traffic island located
across from 1912 Warwick Place.

Background and Comments:

The layout of Warwick Place includes a road which loops ‘around
@ grass island to service four properties. This is similar to the
island arrangement in a large cul-de-sac except that in. this case. the
road Is narrower. Cars are parking on both sides of the road and. this
Ts-resulting in a problem in that our garbage trucks cannot get
+hrough between the parked cars. The solution is to eliminate either
the parking along the frontage of the properties or along the inside
of the loop adjacent to the island. Elimination adjacent to the
_tstand would allow the property owners to continue to park adjacent to
their homes. This is the solution recommended by the Committee.
