“City of Pore Soquitlam Building By-law, 1973, No. 1233"

This by-law adorts the 197C National Building Code of Canada,
this rerlaces the 15€5 code. we have incorrcrated Minor changes to the
code, exenples are Sheathing requirements and tinimum studding spacing

16" C.C.  -ermit fees were also revieed.

There are differences between the 1970 and 1965 code, however,
the 1970 code is more suited to the present day conditions.

The proposed by-law has few changes to the National Code, we
could make further revisions if problem areas arise as we have the pro-
Visions to do so in the Municipal Act at the present time,
