THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM BYLAW NO. 1906 0 A Bylaw to amend the "Port Coquitlam Noise Control Bylaw, 1970, HAY 19 1982 The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: 1. Section 1 of the “Port Coquitlam Noise Control Bylaw, 1970, No. 989" is amended by the deletion of the words "either on the" and the insertion therefor of the words “in or on a" and by the deletion of the words “any loud or objectionable noise which disturbs" and the insertion therefor of the words "noises or sounds which disturb, or tend to disturb,". 2 Section 3 of the Bylaw is amended by the insertion of the words "or a statutory holiday" after the word "Sunday". 3. The Bylaw is further amended by the renumbering of Section 6 and 7 thereof as Sections 9 and 10 respectively and by the additior of the following as Sections 6, 7 and 8 thereof: "6. No person shall make or cause noises or sounds in or on a highway or elsewhere in the City of Port Coquitlam which the Council believes are objectionable or liable to disturb the quiet, peace, rest, enjoyment, comfort or convenience of individuals or the public. Council believes that a contravention of Section 3 of this Bylaw would result in the making or causing of noises or sounds which Council believes are objectionable.
