Re: Bus Service ~— Chalmers - Dunphy Area . . 4 Two residents from the Chalmers ~ Dunphy area attended the Committee Meeting to further explain on behalf of their neighbourhood the strong opposition to the Chalmers ~ Dunphy Bus Loop. After consid- erable discussion the following points were agreed to: 1. Because the loop is not a necessary part of the route but serves only as a turn-around, it was felt that the City and the Bureau of Transit should indicate that the loop will be relocated as soon as possible. 2. Bus service must recommence on the Chalmers — Dunphy loop on Friday morning October 26th, 1973 and continue on that loop until suit- ably relocated. Following the meeting with the residents further discussion was carried out with a B.C, Hydro representative, Mr. Walker. Mr. Walker agreed to a commitment that the loop would be changed as soon as possible and agreed to send a letter to each of the residents on Chalmers and Dunphy confirming this. Item II Re: Parking Behind City Hall The Committee recommends that the nine southerly parking stalls (east of B.C. Telephone) presently allocated for City Employees be removed of any parking restriction.
