9.03 The issuance of this Maintenance Permit shall not be construed as implying
right to the granting of an Order in Council pursuant to the Indian Act for |
Agreement.

10.00 ASSIGNMENT

19.01 Port Coquitlam may, with the approval of the Minister and Band, assign this
Maintenance Permit. Prior to any such approval, the Minister shall consult
the Band and shall satisfy himself that the Band does not reasonably consid
such assignment as prejudicial to its rights and benefits pursuant to this
Maintenance Permit.

Members of the House of Commons shall not be entitled to any share or pa
this Maintenance Permit or to any benefit arising therefrom.

NOT JOINT VENTURE

Nothing in this Maintenance Permit shall be construed as making any of the
Minister, Port Coquitlam, the Band or the Band Council an agent or partner of,
or joint venturer with, the other or others,

TIME OF THE ESSENCE

Time shall be of the essence of this Maintenance Permit and each of its
provisions.
