March 7, 1988/062 The following people were present and expressed their views on the proposed rezoning: Ms. L. Hammond, 2340 Lobb Avenue advised that she was not opposed to the rezoning so much as the condition of Lobb Avenue and the disregard the developer has for residents in the area. Ms. Hammond cited incidents in the neighborhood where damages were sustained by local residents by the developers machinery, along with complaints of machinery and construction items being delivered at odd hours. Ms. A. Wizard, 2422 Pitt River Road expressed concern that the property surrounding her home was higher and asked where the property would be draining to. The Director of Community Planning advised that plans had not yet been submitted so the locations of storm drains were not known. Ms. Knobbe, 2350 Lobb Avenue inquired as to when Lobb Avenue would be paved and gutters put in. Mrs. Knobbe also felt that City staff were not giving enough supervision to the developer during construction. Mr. F. Nick, 2337 Lobb Avenue advised that in his opinion an additional access should be provided for construction purposes, 4s 43 dumptrucks had gone down the lane in one day and were causing considerable damage to the lane and resident properties. Mr. Nick also inquired as to whether or not Lobb Avenue would be paved. Bylaw No. 2339: to rezone That certain parcel of land situated in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia which is more particularly described as: Lot 14, Block 32, District Lot 464, Group One, Plan 16215, New Westminster District, from RT-1 (Two Family Residential) to RM-4 (Apartment) and the Zoaing Map of the "Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240” is hereby amended to reflect this rezoning. . . Ms. B. Irvine, 1960 Coquitlam Avenue asked if all properties surrounding her home would be allowed to build to zero property line, and how would this affect her property should she wish to. rezone. The Director of Community Planning replied that this rezoning would bring the existing building inte conformity with the zoning bylaw but new construction would not have a zero property line.
