Canopy Encroachment

RECOMMENDATION:

That City Counci! authorize the Mayor and Clerk to endorse an
ancroachment agreement to permit a canopy To go over City
Sidewalk at the north east side of Shaughnessy and McAllister
intersection.

COMMENTS:

Approval of this apslication Is recommended, as it is part of
the downtown improvement scheme. A development objective of

fhe downtown plan Is provision of protection from rain for
pedestrians. To meet the downtown plan objective it is
necessary for encroachment agreements be granted for canopies.
