That the existing situation at Viscount Alexander be retained. That is, adult play will only be played on the two diamonds adjacent to Fiint Street and that no adult play will take place on the diamonds adjacent to the residents houses. That talks be initiated with S.D.#43 officials to deal with jurisdiction, as to whether officials can ask unauthorized teams to leave the school site, 3. That new signs be posted saying: "Teams with City Permits only on these diamonds.®* Background & Comments: The Parks & Recreation Committee has discussed the problems with team usage of softball diamonds at Viscount Alexander School. The Committee has met with representatives of the Slowpitch Association and also with residents from the area. We are aware that problems exist in regard to renegade teams utilizing the ball diamonds at Viscount School and also recognize that the jurisdiction of these fields is presently under School Board policy. The Parks & Recration Department will be dealing with officials in order to solve this problen. The Parks & Recreation Department will be liaising with user groups pointing out the need for cooperation on these diamonds and also the need to recognize that the neighbours are bordering the park.
